Avocet Clearance hold our client data electronically allowing us to offer a quarterly review of our clients import records. Our aim in addition to striving for compliance excellence is to spot any potential opportunities to reduce the duty paid both going forward and retrospectively.
Where we identify an overpayment we will work on behalf of our clients (on a contingent basis) to expedite a duty reclaim from HMRC, the current legislation (article 117 UCC reg No 952/2013) allows us to back as far as three years.
