All goods arriving into the UK from both the EU and the rest of the world will require a customs import entry from 1st January 2021.
We specialise in the completion of the C88 single administrative document (SAD) and C89 declaration forms on your behalf, ensuring they are completed accurately and without any port delays. Our customs clearance experts help maintain your customs compliance and safeguard against overpaying customs taxes.
We can complete import entries at all UK ports, and are experienced in handling airfreight, sea freight and road movements. All our internal procedures are to an AEO standard, and our team is led by customs experts, with all staff involved in customs entries holding at least three years experience in DTI CHIEF entries using customs software. Our systems are also fully CDS ready.
In more detail, when the goods arrive in the UK, they move from pending arrival ‘route H’ status, and are allocated a route code (route 1, 2, 3 or 6). Some of these routings require additional action to get the goods cleared, so our 24/7 team are constantly monitoring the arrival status of each import to ensure there are no unnecessary clearance delays. For goods moving under transit or other arrangements, we can also arrange for C21 clearance. We also have both a FAS and a deferment facility should you need us to arrange payment of import taxes to HMRC on your behalf.
