Importing goods to the UK for an exhibition?
Need to bring goods in for an exhibition but are not sure how to avoid import taxes?
We can raise a temporary admission import to allow goods to enter the UK. This can be used up to three times a year per importer.
We require an importer for the declaration with a GB EORI number, which can be the UK exhibition in some cases, or the owner of the goods if they can obtain a GB EORI.
We will calculate the import VAT and duty that would be payable on a regular import and this must be paid as a deposit to HMRC. Upon re-export the deposit is returned to you.
Looking to do this on a regular basis (more than 3 times a year?) – speak to our consulting team about obtaining Full Temporary Admission Authorisation, and avoid the requirement for a deposit each time
